Quality Non-Asbestos Superwool Blanket
Our insulation blankets are made from premium 8lb density Superwool that has safer high-temperature insulation, and durability. It can hold and retain its shape and is non-asbestos.
Installation can be done by mechanical fastening or high-temperature adhesive such as sodium silicate, refractory cement, or RTV silicone.
Withstands High Temperatures
It withstands direct flame, continuous use at 2200°F, intermittent use at 2400°F. Above 2400°F, it will begin to shrink, become brittle, and eventually melt at 3200°F. It features excellent thermal stability and retains its original, soft fibrous structure up to its maximum continuous use temperature.
- USES: Flame Guard protects work area from scorching, burning and charring while soldering, brazing, welding, grinding or cutting. Very thick foil is attached to the back side which allows the product to be formed into shape or wrapped around copper pipes while soldering.
- PRODUCT INFO: Product is reusable and can withstand 2200F on the Superwool blanket side.
