- Replacement baffle board for Drolet Blackcomb II (DB02811), Columbia II (DB03016), Savannah II (DB03028), Deco II (DB03205), and Escape 1500 and 1500-I (DB03135, DB03137), Enerzone Solution 1.7, 1.7-I (EB00055, EB00057), Harmony 1.7, and Destination 1.7-I, Osburn 1700, 1700-I (OB01700, OB01705), Ventis HES170 and HEI170 (VB00013, CB00014), Empire Archway 1700 (WB17IN), Gateway 1700 (WB17FS-1), Century FW2800 (CB00021). All brands listed are Stove Builder International sub-brands. Lynn 2526A replaces either 21521 or 21586 baffles.
- Baffles in wood stoves and inserts are required to be in good condition to burn efficiently and meet EPA emissions regulations. The baffle, when working correctly, creates a secondary high temperature burn zone to reduce smoke emissions. Over time, it is normal for baffles to deteriorate and they can be easily broken during routine maintenance. Stoves with broken or missing baffles will burn less efficiently, smoke more, and not comply with emissions regulations. To ensure your stove is working efficiently and safely, inspect your baffles yearly and replace them when they have visible damage such as cracking or missing material.
- Lynn Manufacturing’s replacement baffles are designed from a special high temperature ceramic fiber insulation that both insulates and can withstand high temperatures and chemical attack. This material is a replacement for vermiculite, ceramic fiber, and C-Cast.
