Kozy Heat is a privately-held, family-owned business. Their customers, suppliers and employees like to work with them because of their small town work ethics and their sincere friendly attitude. Kozy Heat will continue to uphold their fireplace's reputation of quality and value and they are proud to put their family name, Hussong Manufacturing, on every product they sell."
"Dudley Hussong, Chairman of the Board, established Kozy Heat® during 1976 in his father's millwork shop in southern Minnesota. The first Kozy Heat was a wood burning fireplace that was created as a more efficient way to heat the shop during the fuel embargo. He then teamed up with a local masonry named Roland Koster. Dudley knew about metal and Roland knew about brick. Together they knew what it took to build a fireplace. The word spread around town and a local contractor later persuaded Hussong to build another, and then another, for local homes. Kozy Heat soon became known as a high-quality, energy-efficient home-heating supplement. Within two years, Kozy Heat was selling fireplaces throughout Minnesota via distribution channels.
Jim Hussong, President, joined his father full time in 1984. The two became a team - Jim concentrating on expanding the sales and marketing division, whereas Dudley remained researching and developing new products. Together they have created distribution and representation nationwide with a full product line of both wood and gas fireplaces."
Kozy Heat is a brand of gas and wood-burning stoves that is designed and manufactured by Hussong Manufacturing Company, a family-owned business based in Minnesota that has been in operation for over 40 years. Kozy Heat stoves are known for their efficient heating capabilities, stylish designs, and innovative features.
Kozy Heat stoves are available in a range of sizes and styles, from traditional to contemporary, and can be customized with a variety of features and accessories. They are designed to be easy to use and maintain, and are built to last for many years with minimal upkeep.
One of the standout features of Kozy Heat stoves is their use of advanced combustion technologies that help to improve efficiency and reduce emissions. For example, some models feature a secondary combustion system that helps to burn wood more completely, resulting in lower emissions and higher efficiency. Many Kozy Heat stoves are also designed to be highly efficient when burning gas, with features such as electronic ignition and variable flame control.
Kozy Heat stoves are also designed with safety in mind, with features such as a built-in safety screen, a cool-touch handle, and an automatic shut-off system that activates if the stove overheats.
