Neoceram glass enables hearth appliance manufacturers and dealers to provide their customers with safe, high-efficiency gas- and wood-burning stoves and fireplaces, while maintaining the latest design options. Neoceram glass can withstand continuous temperatures up to 1,292Β° Fβ€”nearly three times the heat resistance of tempered glass. It is ideal for use in high-efficiency heating appliances and cannot be broken by heat during typical usage.

We currently stock all three brands of ceramic glass. There is no visual or performance difference between it, pyroceram, or robax glass. The difference is just trademarks, all 3 are transparent high temperature ceramic glass with a 1380Β° F thermal shock tolerance with a slight amber tint, slight texture, and available in 5mm (3/16) thickness and in 4mm 1/8 thickness.

Woodstove-Fireplaceglass is your one stop source for ceramic glass. Wood stove and Woodstove-Fireplace Glass custom-cuts ceramic glass at wholesale prices. We offer a transparent low expansion glass-ceramic with a number of outstanding features that include high resistance to thermal shock, high mechanical strength, and excellent electrical characteristics. With an almost zero thermal expansion coefficient, the applications for ceramic glass will continue to grow.

All glass will expand when heated! Please order your glass at least 1/8" shy of the mounting surface to accommodate for this thermal expansion. Woodstove-Fireplaceglass.com is not responsible for breaks due to improper measurements!

Metal screws and mounting hardware will expand when heated! Please do not over-tighten hardware as this may break your glass when appliance is in use. Woodstove-Fireplaceglass.com is not responsible for breaks due to over-tightened hardware.

We have the ability to cut your glass to a custom fractional measurement not listed on this product page, and may even have bigger sizes or thicknesses available. Give us a call for more information!

We offer a selection of popular pattern cuts, however, we can also create your custom templates. Give us a call to set up a quote!

Whether you are burning gas, wood pellets, or even corn, today’s stoves, and fireplaces can produce intense heat. While ordinary tempered glass withstands temperatures of up to approximately 500 degrees, higher levels of heat may cause it to crack, shatter or explode.

Woodstove-fireplaceglass.com specializes in wholesale Ceramic glass sales. This enables us to promise one-day service on these products. If your order is in by 10 am, our glaziers will cut the Neoceram to any shape and size you need and have it ready to ship by 3pm CST.

Neither of the mentioned products are traditional glass, as stated they are ceramic with some slightly different properties depending on the trade name. The etching that occurs from Anthracite fly ash eventually claims both products and causes crazing and eventual cracking. Always allow the glass to cool before applying any type of cleaning agent, always use a product meant for the ceramic such as ceramic stove top cleaner and steer clear of any common household glass cleaners that contain ammonia.

Woodstove-fireplaceglass.com is one of the best suppliers of high-temperature glass to fireplace and woodstove manufacturers. We have sold over 10 thousand square feet of transparent glass-ceramics. Generally, we supply high temperature glass to glass and fireplace shops as original equipment parts. As a service to some of our fireplace and woodstove manufacturers, we also offer replacement glass parts to dealers and consumers. If you are a dealer or consumer looking to replace broken glass for your fireplace or woodstove, this page is for you. Wholesale

NEOCERAM GLASS
Neoceramβ„’ is a transparent ceramic that is suitable for use in wood, pellet, and coal burning applications

It is a transparent low expansion glass-ceramic with a number of outstanding features that include high resistance to thermal shock, high mechanical strength, and excellent electrical characteristics. With an almost zero thermal expansion coefficient, the applications continue to grow from Wood Stoves, Gas Fireplaces, Electric Heaters to High Tech Applications.

It is commonly referred to as glass but it is actually a transparent ceramic. It is typically 3/16" or 5mm thick, it however also comes in 3mm or 1/8 inch also. Ideal Solution for Woodstoves. Unlike annealed glass (Regular Float), it can withstand continuous exposure to high temperatures without the fear of destruction. It is also resistant to failure due to temperature variation. It is the ideal solution for many wood stoves and fireplaces where glass panels are less than 6 inches from the flames.

Strength and Durability, it can take the heat! Continuous temperatures up to 1470Β°F (700Β°C) can be withstood because this ceramic has an extremely low thermal coefficient of expansion. It doesn't run or swell at high temperatures the way normal glass does.

Field Tested against Underwriters Laboratories (UL-1482) impact test it is a glass product that offers continuous, high temperature use (700Β°C / 1470Β° F) with no fear of destruction from high heat or temperature variation (water or snow on hot glass). Whether burning gas or wood, today’s high efficiency stoves and fireplaces can produce intense heat. While ordinary tempered glass withstands temperatures up to approximately 250Β° C (500Β°F), higher levels of heat may cause it to crack and shatter or worse explode out of your fireplace. For builders and home owners, that can mean costly replacements - or worse!

Thanks to modern technology, there is now an alternative! With the transparency of glass and the heat-resistant characteristics of ceramic. This ceramic product can tolerate continuous temperatures up to 1470Β° F - nearly three times the heat resistance of tempered glass. It cannot be broken by heat during typical usage in a wood stove or gas fireplace.

It is made by reheating glass into having a specific composition to precipitate a fine crystal structure. In the crystalline phase the material has a very low, or even negative, thermal expansion coefficient, and the glass and crystal matrices therefore cancel each other out, producing the low expansion properties of Neoceram N-0 and Neoceram N-11.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF NEOCERAM
Glass Making ProcessNEOCERAM "THE SCIENCE"
N-0 Beta quartz type crystals precipitated by the A crystallization heat treatment are no large than 0.1 microns, which is sufficiently smaller than the wavelength of visible light. Also, because the refractivity of the crystals is about the same as that of the glass matrix, the light does not become diffused, which is what gives N-0 its transparency.

N-11 Beta spodumene crystals precipitated by the B crystallization heat treatment are about 1 micron in size. Because that is larger than the wavelength of visible light, the effect is to diffuse the light, giving Neoceram N-11 its white, opaque appearance. However, Neoceram N-11 offers good transmissivity to far-infrared light with a wavelength of about 3.5 microns.

This glass is Resistant to Temperature Variation.

Compared to even tempered glass, used as a fireplace glass, it does not break under drastic temperature changes

It Can Withstand Extreme Heat. Heat resistant like tempered glass, but to an extreme degree, this glass can withstand long-term heat temperatures of above 1,200Β° F and short-term heat temperatures of 1,400Β° F.

Versatile Best and safest option for hot-burning gas fireplaces and woodstoves, which burn hotter than traditional fireplaces, or where the glass is 6 inches or closer to the flames.

This glass will not swell and melt the way regular glass does under conditions of extreme high-heat.
